Gerina-Piller
She was born in Roswell on March 29, 1985. Gerina Michelle Mendoza was her birth name. Gerina Stevenson was born to Mexican parentage Rita Stevenson (mother) and Alan Stevenson (father). Her parents are Mexican and American. Since she was a child she has had a strong determination to be involved in sports. Gerina began to play golf at the age of fifteen. Gerina went to Goddard High School for her higher education in high school. When she was in the high school level, she was able to win the New Mexico state golf tournament. In addition, she was a volleyball player at the state level. In 2003, she started her studies in the University of Texas. Her senior year was a success. she was a winner in every single tournament that she took part in. During her undergrad career, she won her the Conference USA Individual Champion Player of the Year Award and UTEP Female athlete of the Year.
